Description:Sterile recombinant imipenem hydrolase expressed in E.coli is used in the test of sterility and microbial limit of β-lactam antibiotics, especially imipenem.
Introduction
INDUMY® Imipenem Hydrolase is a kind of recombinant carbapenemase expressed in E.col and purfied to high homogeneity with high activity. It hydrolyse the β-lactam ring of imipenem antibiotics and inactivate the antibiotics. This enzyme can inactivate β-lactam antibiotics such as ceftriaxon, cefazolin, ceftazidime, cefoxitin, cefepime, cefuroxime, cefotaxime, oxacillin, imipenem, and meropenem.
