Thermostable cephalosporinase is a kind of Type II β-Lactamase. It can hydrolyze β-lactam antibiotic β-lactam ring and makes it loses its anti-microbial activity. This product is a recombinant enzyme obtained by genetic engineering technology. Through the construction of a highly efficient expression E.coli strain and fermentation, purification, a high purity and high activity product is obtained. It is characterized by specificity and effectively hydrolyze β-Lactam ring of cephalosporins, cefadroxil, cefradine, cefaclor, cefuroxime, cefixime, cefoperazone, cefotaxime, ceftriaxone, cefoxitin, cefepime, etc.
When the enzyme is kept at 50℃ for 4 hours, the residual enzyme activity reaches more than 90%. It has obvious advantages and is very suitable for adding agar plate medium.
